How Veneer Orders Are Shipped

Veneer is a thin natural wood product and must be packed differently from ordinary merchandise. Orders are prepared to reduce movement, edge damage, moisture exposure, and bending during normal transportation. The packing method may vary according to sheet dimensions, quantity, destination, and carrier requirements.

Processing Time

Processing time begins after payment is accepted and all order details are complete. In-stock natural veneer may be available sooner than dyed, sorted, custom-sized, oversized, or production-quantity material. Any estimated processing or delivery date is an estimate rather than a guaranteed arrival date unless a specific service is offered in writing.

Parcel and Freight Shipments

Smaller orders may ship by parcel carrier. Larger, heavier, oversized, or palletized orders may require freight service. A freight quote may be needed before an order can be completed. Residential delivery, lift-gate service, limited-access delivery, appointment delivery, and inside delivery can create additional carrier charges.

Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Include a business name, suite or unit number, gate information, and a working telephone number when applicable. Carrier address corrections, redelivery attempts, storage, return freight, and related fees may be charged to the customer when caused by incomplete or incorrect information.

Inspect the Shipment Promptly

Inspect the package as soon as it arrives. Before discarding packaging, confirm the quantity and check the sheets, corners, edges, and outer packaging for visible damage.

• Photograph the unopened package when exterior damage is visible.
• Photograph the shipping label and all sides of the package.
• Photograph the packing materials and affected veneer.
• Keep all packaging until the issue is resolved.
• Contact us promptly with the order number and photographs.

Freight Delivery Inspection

For pallet or freight deliveries, inspect the shipment before signing the delivery receipt whenever possible. Note visible shortages, punctures, crushed corners, broken bands, water exposure, or other damage on the carrier paperwork. A clear delivery receipt can limit the ability to pursue a visible-damage claim.

Weather and Storage After Delivery

Do not leave veneer outdoors, in direct sun, in rain, or in a hot delivery vehicle. Move it into a controlled indoor environment promptly. Keep the material supported, protected, and stored flat according to the guidance on our Veneer Storage and Moisture page.

International Orders

International availability depends on destination, dimensions, species restrictions, carrier service, and export requirements. Import duties, taxes, brokerage, inspection charges, and local fees are normally the recipient's responsibility unless stated otherwise.
