About Skateboard Veneer

Veneer Supplied by Skateboard Manufacturers

SkateboardVeneer.com was created to supply veneer and related materials to people who build skateboards. Our background is not limited to selling wood. We have manufactured skateboard decks since 1999 and understand how veneer behaves during gluing, pressing, shaping, sanding, printing, and finishing.

That production experience shapes the way we describe and sell veneer. A sheet that looks acceptable by itself still needs to perform as part of a laminated skateboard deck. Thickness consistency, grain direction, moisture condition, surface quality, storage, adhesive coverage, and press setup can all affect the final result.

Who We Serve

  • Independent skateboard builders
  • Small and established skateboard manufacturers
  • Woodshops, schools, colleges, and maker programs
  • Artists producing custom laminated work
  • Product developers testing skateboard construction
  • Businesses that need repeat veneer supply

Our Material Focus

Our primary focus is North American hard rock maple veneer suitable for laminated skateboard construction. Product listings will identify the available dimensions, thickness, grade, grain direction, color, quantity, and intended position in a layup when applicable.

Natural wood varies. Grain, figure, tone, mineral marks, small knots, and other characteristics may differ from sheet to sheet. Product grades are intended to help customers select material appropriate for visible faces, structural inner plies, prototypes, samples, or utility applications.

Built for Practical Ordering

The site is being organized around the way builders actually purchase material. Customers will be able to shop by veneer type, grade, color, dimensions, and pack quantity. Product information will explain what is included and how the material is commonly used.
